The members of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc., often refer to this organization as a second family or a family away home. We become a part of each others life and more often than not, we are honored to participate in a wedding or two. Brothers of this Fraternity often become "Compadres", (baptizing the child of another) and so the family continues to grow. The Omega Fund has been created to celebrate these positives steps in the lives of our Brothers. Major celebrations such as a marriage or the beginning of a family, (birth of a child), can be celebrated with a gift or monetary donation from the Omega Fund.
Unfortunately, we sometimes find ourselves grieving over the loss of an immediate family member; father, mother, brother or sister. In more recent years we have regrettably attended funerals, that of our own NAK Brothers. In order to assist a Brother during their loss of a loved one, or to assist the family of a fallen NAK Brother, a monetary donation will be made to ease the financial burden during an unexpected loss. This Omega Fund has been created by the Alumni Association to financially help when possible, and can only be used for these life changing occurrences.
