We’d like to recognize our brothers at the Iota Chapter at Sacramento State, who were featured on Univision for their work in organizing an upcoming blood drive in Sacramento. Our brothers will help register blood donors, serve as translators, arrange the event & much more.

The event is called, “Día de Donar Sangre,” and is geared to educate the Hispanic community about the importance of donating blood and joining the national marrow registry, Be The Match. The event will be held Friday, June 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cal Expo (East Gate) in Sacramento.

If you are in the Sacramento area, we ask that you take time next week to donate.

This is the second time in 2 months our brothers at the Iota Chapter have been featured in the news for their philanthropic work. In mid-April, their work in hosting a Bone Marrow Registry Drive at Sacramento State earned them a featured article in their university student newspaper.

Our brothers at Iota are doing a tremendous job in their community service, helping the Latino community, and giving selflessly. We are very proud of your work brothers, keep doing great things & good luck!
