For many of our brothers, the first national event they will have ever attended as a bro was NAKFest.

NAKfest is the signature event of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. It is the annual family reunion of our brotherhood where Alumni and undergrads reconnect with old brothers. Undergraduates gain motivation to pursue greater success in community service and campus participation. For initiates and new members it is often the event that opens their eyes to the power of NAK.

Stay tuned to this page for the latest information. Please email programs@nakinc.org. with questions or concerns.

Check Out

Fresno Hotel and Conference Center – Noon

Check-out time at the Fresno Hotel and Conference Center is noon.

NAKfest will truly cater to its largest constituency this year – our alumni.

Many special, alumni-centered events have been organized this year.

An Alumni-Only sports bracket will be offered in the national sports tournament for the first time in this fraternity’s history. During this sports tournament, alumni and brothers with families are encouraged to bring their children to play in bounce houses that will be available.

On Saturday afternoon, an Alumni dinner will be held at a location TBD. This dinner will center around the National Alumni Association’s launch of its national scholarship fund. This dinner will be a prelude to the Saturday evening National Awards Banquet.

If you have any questions regarding Alumni-specific programming, please contact National Alumni Association CEO Angel Barajas (angel.barajas@nakinc.org).

NAKfest 2014 will go down as one of the most monumental dates in NAK history thus far with the unveiling of the NAK National Flag!

At the beginning of our national sports tournament on Saturday morning, attending brothers will be treated to one of the biggest moments in NAK history thus far – the unveiling of the NAK National Flag.

This flag has been worked on behind the scenes for years now with contributions from gentlemen such as Original Founding Father Hector Mendoza (who designed the NAK Crest).

The Flag Manifesto will be printed on programs for attendees to view and take home as keepsakes.

After the flag is presented and explained, all brothers in attendance will join in and state the Flag Manifesto out loud for the first time in Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity history!

There are great plans in the works for this Flag and its Manifesto…this is definitely a moment in NAK history you DO NOT want to MISS!

*Note: Shuttles will take brothers from the Saturday evening banquet to the Saturday night party.

Announcing the Launch of the Nu Alpha Kappa National Scholarship Fund

[styled_image image=”https://naknet.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/NAK-Grads.jpg” w=”720″ h=”180″ link=”” lightbox=”yes” alt=”” rel=””]

For many brothers in this fraternity, scratching up finances to pay for our higher education was a miracle on its own.

$0.00

We fought, clawed and scratched to get every penny we could to pay for college.

Many of us set precedent within our families by being the first to attend college. However, the milestone likely put us in a financial bind and made us become resourceful in finding methods of paying for school. And many of us can agree that Nu Alpha Kappa played an integral role in not only keeping us in school, but helping us push through.

Through diligence and many contributions from grants and scholarships, many of us were fortunate enough to make it through college and graduate with a degree(s).

However, the problem of paying for school still exists for our in-school brothers.

Tuition has risen across all 3 states that contain chapters of our fraternity (California, Nevada & Colorado).

It is now our duty to give back to the organization that has given so much to us.

Through the Nu Alpha Kappa Alumni Association, we are launching the National Scholarship Fund at NAKfest 2014 this year.

The NAA will explain the National Scholarship Fund more in-depth at its Saturday evening alumni dinner, where the disbursement of these funds will also be explained.

Our goal is to raise $2,000 at this year’s NAKfest to jumpstart the scholarship fund.

We have established three sponsorship levels:
Red: $25
White: $50
Bronze: $100

If you can find it in your heart to donate to this wonderful cause and give to the idea of a young man having better opportunities than you had, you can graciously do so below.

If you have any questions regarding the National Scholarship Fund, please contact National Alumni Association CEO Angel Barajas (angel.barajas@nakinc.org).

National Elections Will Take Place Online This Year.
Winners Will Be Announced At Saturday Night Banquet.
