27th Annual National Leadership Development Conference
Hosted by Lambda Chapter, UC San Diego
July 24-26, 2025
Leading the Way
Welcome to our 27th Annual National Leadership Development Conference (NLDC) hosted by our Lambda Chapter at UC San Diego. The National Executive Board (NEB) and the Lambda Chapter, are looking forward to welcoming our new chapter leaders and advisory groups to define our shared roles, develop new partnerships and collaborating together to LEAD THE WAY into Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity’s next evolution.
NLDC also serves as a venue for our NAK leaders of all chapters, both undergraduate and alumni, to gather in open forums and discuss the important issues facing our brotherhood today. NLDC allows the brotherhood to share a vision of leadership and begin the process of planning the next academic year.
Throughout the site you will be able to view different tabs to give you an idea of what this year’s NLDC will look like and what to expect. Remember, NLDC will be July 24th through July 26th; feel free to contact your designated liaison with any questions you may have. We are looking forward to a productive and memorable NLDC and just the same, we look forward to an exceptional brotherhood experience.
Stay tuned to this page for the latest information. Please email programs@nakinc.org with questions or concerns.

The Mission
NLDC allows for the empowerment of emerging chapter and alumni leaders of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity with a framework of understanding role responsibilities and guidance, National and Community policies and procedures, collaboration and event planning all while learning how to be an effective chapter leader throughout the academic school year.
NLDC has been an opportunity for chapter leaders to learn from their regional partners. Fostering chapter development and inter-chapter networking under the premiss of a shared vision for academic, culture and brotherhood.
NLDC is a weekend for National and Chapter leaders to set the tone for the next year and write the next chapter of the Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity experience.
