UCSD NAK Alumni Association Hosts Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway
South Bay Community Services Helps Get Students & Families Ready For School
South Bay Community Services (SBCS) in partnership with UCSD Nu Alpha Kappa Alumni Association will be hosting a free ‘Back to School Night’ for students and their families on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Castle Park Middle School (160 Quintard St., Chula Vista, CA 91911).
The free event is open to all ages. Free school supplies and backpacks will be available, but supplies are limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, there will be giveaways, resource booths and fun bouncy inflatables for children.
“A key focus for the organization,” said Erik Flores, UCSD NAK Alumni Vice President, “is covering the gap that exits in the education system with regards to preparing young leaders for the world beyond the college campus.”

The UCSD NAK Alumni Association was created in 1999 as a non-profit (501c3) grass roots organization dedicated to encouraging UCSD NAK alumni to advance the cause of education and establish a mutually beneficial relationship between Nu Alpha Kappa alumni and the community.
